West Gippsland Hospital - view map

West Gippsland Hospital (WGH) is an 80 bed acute facility in Warragul, providing Medical, Surgical, Obstetric, Sub-Acute,
Paediatric, Emergency and High Dependency Services, with a full range of Allied Health Services.
The Hospital cares for approximately 11,600 inpatients, makes almost 28,000 community visits and sees over 20,000
emergency presentations each year.

Andrews House - view map

Andrews House in Trafalgar opened in November 1997. It accommodates 30 aged residents in three linked cottages,
each serviced with a kitchen, dining room and lounge area. Each of the 30 bedrooms has private amenities.
The building has been designed to accommodate further expansion. A fundraising appeal raised $1.2 million
towards the cost of the building. Respite care is available.

Community Services Centres - Warragul map - Trafalgar map

Established in 1996, the Community Services Division of West Gippsland Healthcare Group, is located in the township
of Warragul and operates a satellite service at Trafalgar. The Centre aims to empower individuals and groups to
increase access to skills, knowledge and resources and ensure their full participation in the community. A number
of community based health services are available.

Cooinda Lodge - view map

Cooinda Lodge is home to 60 residents and is co-located with West Gippsland Hospital. Stage 2 building renovations
in 1997/98 included more ensuites and living areas adding to the homelike atmosphere of the nursing home.
The surrounding gardens are fully landscaped, creating a pleasant environment for residents to enjoy.
Respite Care is also available.

Rawson Community Health Centre - view map

The Rawson Community Health Service cares for a relatively isolated area in the north-east of the Baw Baw Shire.
Services provided include District Nursing, health education, visiting doctors and counselling services as required.

Warragul Linen Service - view map

This multi award winning linen service is a business unit of the West Gippsland Healthcare Group, located on the
hospital campus in Warragul. Warragul Linen Service (WLS) clients include Alfred Health and Monash Health.
Other clients include Aged Care, Community Care, Hospitality and the local Baw Baw Shire community.
WLS is the largest public sector linen service in Victoria. WLS processes on average 130 tonne per week.
