Dan commenced in November 2011. Prior to this he was Chief Executive Officer at Benalla Health. He has extensive health industry experience having commenced his nursing career 30 years ago at Western General Hospital in Footscray. Dan has a particular interest in quality in health care and is a surveyor and member of the State Advisory Committee for the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards

Director of Medical Services
Director of Emergency Medicine

Gary joined WGHG in 2014 as Director of Emergency Medicine. In November 2015, he undertook the position of Director of Medical Services. Gary has worked at numerous Emergency Departments around Victoria holding positions such as Director, Deputy Director, Director of Emergency Medicine Training and is the Director of Medical Services at KooWeeRup Regional Health Services. Gary has a particular interest in process redesign, computer programming and data analysis.

Director of Nursing & Midwifery

Kathy commenced in in numerous prominent key senior positions during this period, including the first 13 years in the Emergency Department. Over the past 10 years, Kathy has held positions including the Deputy Director of Nursing & Midwifery. She has also held positions on state planning task forces in relation to trauma management and was a national and state board member of the College of Emergency Nursing for four years.

Director of Corporate Services

Justin re-joined WGHG in December 2011. He has worked in the public health industry for over eight years, having previously held the position of Business Manager at Southern Health for four and a half years. Prior to that, Justin was the WGHG Finance Manager for four years.

    Audra Fenton RN, GradDip MN, Grad Dip Bus Man, CMHN, MNurs (Mental health) ACMHN
Director of Allied and Community Health

Audra joined WGHG in 2010 as the manager of The Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service, became the Community Health Manager in 2013 and in June 2016 became the Director of Allied and Community Health. Audra is a registered nurse and credentialed mental health practitioner with over 20 years’ experience working in aged mental health. She has held senior management roles both here and in the UK and is a peer reviewer for the Australian College of Mental health nurses.
